Geany themes12/12/2023 ![]() But then again, Clown Faces, are all registered. Only one theme had a name in the title "QB64 Dark Steve" (probably one of the authors of QB64)Ĭopyrighting colours? Cadbury Chocolates tried to copyright the specific blue/purple of their wrapper but failed. I am sure that the themes were created by different people. The QB64 themes were just lines of text in a config file. I will check the Geany files for "creator" names but not sure how to include their names as all that was extracted were numbers. After all, they are replicas of QB64 and Geany IDE themes. I am not sure about the copyright status of the themes. Ngui_theme_editor.zip (Size: 927.07 KB / Downloads: 2) I really like your themes (I have soft spot for okra:ish colors) and they'll all be included if you don't mind! Any reason for using the same color for the "regular" background and editor background in all of them? I kinda like it when they're slightly different (lighter background than editor background in dark, and the opposite for light), but that's just me - do NOT change anything because of me You can copy the themes in the assets/themes-folder of the zip to your real n7/assets/themes-folder (it's a corrected version of Dracula and two. So, uh, you have to load your themes in the new theme editor, modify the two colors, and save them again. If you select an old theme file, it will keep the line number colors it used before loading the theme. However, this version of ned, or rather the version of ngui that it uses, EXPECTS the new colors to be in the theme files it loads. ![]() But I've included a new version of ned that should work (just replace your old ned.exe). The problem now is that your version of ned still uses the old colors for line numbers ("Background" and "Border"). Here's a new version with two more colors "LN background" (line number background) and "LN text" (line number text). I will not be offended if you choose not to use any but would appreciate any reasons as to why. It is the remaining 13 to 14 gui colours that require a little, shall we say, creativity. Placing, what I call the "core colours" (8 to 9 editor window colours), is quite simple. The remaining colours are assigned a pre-arranged colour and represented by a variable. Difficult to create a program to extract the colours. Each file has to be read to find the colours. Each of Geany's colour themes are a 'config' file. In the editor it is quicker to enter 6 hex characters then 3 sets of rgb numbers. I found it easier to throw together a program to convert the line to hex values. Each set of 9 digits is the RGB value for each colour. ![]() The Theme name followed by 9 sets of 9 digits. But, now that I know what I am doing (usually), I have the process down to about 10-15 minutes. There are differences between converting QB64 and Geany themes.
